Your consent
By using LinkPay you agree to transact with [Company Legal Name] electronically, and to receive communications from us in electronic form rather than on paper.
Some of what we send you is information the law says we must give you in writing. You have the right to receive it physically. With your consent, we send it electronically instead, in accordance with the US Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (the “E-Sign Act”) and equivalent law where you are.
You also consent to using electronic signatures, and agree that where you accept a document, tick a box, tap a button, or confirm a one-time code, that action has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
“Communications” means every disclosure, notice, agreement, receipt, statement, record, tax document, and other information provided during our relationship — including our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and any change to them.
How we send them
We deliver communications by:
- displaying them in the platform, or on this website;
- emailing the address you gave us, or sending a text message to the phone number you gave us;
- any other way an agreement with you specifies.
We send to the identifier you gave us, and not to another one. If you signed in with a phone number, that is where your codes and receipts go. Sending them somewhere else would be both useless to you and a disclosure to whoever holds that other address.
Keeping your contact details current is your responsibility. For buyers this matters more than it looks: the phone number or email address you bought with is not just where we write to you, it is your account. If you lose access to it, you lose access to what you bought — contact us at support@linkpay.co before that happens, and see Terms for Buyers.
What you need
To receive and keep electronic communications, you need:
- a current version of a mainstream web browser, on a computer or mobile device;
- a working internet connection;
- the email address or phone number you gave us, and the ability to receive messages at it;
- the ability to view and save PDF files;
- enough storage to keep copies of anything you want to retain, and a way to print it.
By consenting, you confirm your device meets these requirements. If we change them in a way that creates a real risk you will not be able to receive or keep communications, we will tell you, and you may withdraw your consent.
Keep your own copies. We recommend saving receipts and any agreement you accept.
Asking for a paper copy
You may request a paper copy of any communication we have provided. Email support@linkpay.co and we will send one free of charge. Requesting a paper copy does not withdraw your consent — future communications continue to be delivered electronically unless you withdraw it.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing support@linkpay.co.
Please understand what that means in practice. LinkPay cannot be operated on paper: signing in requires an electronic code, and what you buy is delivered electronically. Withdrawing consent therefore ends your ability to use the service, and we may close your account. Withdrawal takes effect once we have processed it, and does not affect the validity of anything done electronically before then.
Withdrawing consent does not cancel a purchase, a payout obligation, or a debt. See Refunds and Disputes and Payment Terms.
Updating your details
Sellers and organization staff can update contact details in account settings. Buyers, who have no settings page by design, should email support@linkpay.co. We will verify that the identifier is yours before changing anything attached to it.
